Hailie Drescher was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta. Even at an early age, they are described as a creative person, a trait that has expanded into a specialism in world building. They enjoy the escapism world building provides them from life and has a knack for being able to make even fantasy worlds feel plausible in everyday life. they are the proud indie author of several short stories and poetry which have been included in not one but two anthologies by the community of writers known as the Short Story Superstars in addition to the magickal and upcoming series Familiars Calling.
As a graduate of NAIT’s Graphic Communication’s program where they learned the skills required to design the art used for Familiars Calling she can often be found playing around in photoshop; sharpening these skills. When not writing, or designing something they can most often be found out on the Quidditch pitch with her local team, or streaming on Twitch or watching it.
